Bringing Hollywood to the Streets

What better way to promote an upcoming horror movie than by bringing it to life in the streets? Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, which premiered on the streaming service in September, acts as a prequel to the 2019 adaptation of Stephen King’s 1983 novel, taking us back 50 years to when a young Jud Crandall first discovered the cursed graveyard. 

We partnered with Paramount to pioneer a cutting-edge fog activation at our installation on La Cienega Blvd and West 3rd Street, accompanied by audio clips from the film triggered by motion sensors. As people passed by the illuminated site, they were greeted with the fog and ominous lines from the horror classic, setting a spooky scene that delighted onlookers and definitely made sure they would all remember to check out the movie.

In addition to the Beverly Grove placement, we enacted Illumicades™ at three other locations in Melrose, Westwood, and Venice. Executing multiple lit-up installations ensured the ads would get maximum impressions, especially throughout the night.
